Automatic Lathe CTL -310R

bullet

Description

The CTL-310R Lathe is specifically designed for machining commutators (outside diameter and face) or slip rings for rebuilding of old car starter armatures and alternator rotors.

bullet

We offer the CTL-310R  with one tool holder (for machining the commutator surface and the riser), but upon request it can be modified to supply two tool holders or a multi-positioning tool holder.

The Lathe features unique automatic tool positioning system ensuring constant value of the set depth of cutting, regardless of the O.D. and/or face position variations. Run out is minimized by ingenious drive vibration reducing device implemented within the lathe unit. The CTL-310R can also be programmed to realize machining at a constant final value of the commutator's diameter.
