WTD-01 Contact Washer Face Turning Device

Description

The Face Turning Device is a small special-purpose automatic lathe. The turning of the copper contact washer is done without disassembling it from the complete unit.

The complete unit is placed manually into the opening of the live centre,   lever rotating around horizontal axis.

After the start signal the live centre turns around its axis by means of a pneumatic cylinder and presses the contact washer against the rotating spindle nose. When the face turning is achieved the tool goes to its initial position and the spindle stops, together with the withdrawal of the live centre and the machined part.
