NDBC-1 Automatic ND Drive Body Cleaner

 

Description

The machine is designed to automatically clean the outside surface of the ND drive body, according to the requirements of the customer.

The machine consists of the following main parts:

bulletPneumatic feed moving tables equipped with two vertical and one horizontal motors and brushes
bulletMagazine for storing of the ND bodies
bulletEjector for the cleaned up gear
bulletSafety glass covering box
bulletOutlet for dust collector

bulletMotor-reductor for turning the gear in the opposite direction to clean more efficiently
bulletThe pneumatic block as well as the electrical cabinet is mounted inside the body

The cleaning process is very simple. The operator loads the magazine with the ND drive bodies, turns on the motors and switches to auto mode. The rotating table takes part after part from the magazine and moves them one step ahead. At its 5th position the horizontal feed moving table begins to clean the teeth of the drive body. The cleaning time is adjustable from the PLC CPU module. Upon completion of this time the rotating table turns again one step ahead. If there is a part at the 6th position, the other two vertical tables move respectively down and up and begin to clean the other outside surfaces of the drive body. When the cleaned body reaches the 12th position the ejector takes it from the rotating table and ejects it. The process is the same for all other drive bodies.
