  NDBC-1 Automatic ND Drive Body Cleaner

 

Description

    The device is designed to automatically clean the ND drive body.

The machine automatically cleans the outside surface of the ND drive body, according to the requirements of the customer.

The machine consists of the following main parts:

bulletPneumatic feed;  three  moving tables, two tables with vertical motors with brush, the other one has a horizontal motor with brush installed on it
bulletMagazine for storing of the ND bodies
bulletEjector for the cleaned up gear

bulletSafety block
bulletMotor-reductor to rotate the drive body in the opposite direction of the brush to achieve more efficiency during the cleaning process
bulletThe pneumatic block, as well as the electrical cabinet are mounted inside the body of the machine 

The cleaning process is very simple. The operator loads the magazine with the ND drive bodies, turns on the motors and switches to auto mode. The rotating table consecutively takes part after part from the magazine and moves them one step ahead. At the 5th position of the table the horizontal brush  begins to clean up the teeth of the drive body. The cleaning time is adjustable on the PLC CPU module. Upon completion of that time the rotating table turns again one step ahead. If there is a part at the 6th position the two vertical tables move down and up and start cleaning the other outside surfaces of the drive body. When the cleaned body reaches the 12th position it is ejected from the machine. The process is the same for all other drive bodies.
